The LIONSROCK Holiday Programme is a one-day immersive programme held at our Sanctuary, focused on promoting Animal Welfare while fostering a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between animals, humans, and the environment. Through a range of engaging activities, children will discover the significance of “One Welfare,” where the well-being of animals, people, and the environment are intricately linked.

To introduce children to the fascinating world of our big cats and their unique characteristics, the importance of Animal Welfare, to foster empathy and respect for animals and to inspire children to become advocates for animal welfare

The programme will run during the first two weeks of the June – July school holidays between Monday to Friday from 09h00 to 16h00 with each day hosting a different grade of learners for grades 0-3, 4-7 and 8-10 in groups of 20 – 40 children. The programme caters to children all different areas and is open to anyone interested in attending this informative programme.
